Haywood M. Ingram, MD, FACS Dr. Ingram is a native of Raleigh, NC. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received his Medical Degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He completed his surgical residency training at The McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago. He then completed Fellowship training in Surgical Research at Northwestern University. Dr. Ingram is Board Certified by The American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ingram's interests include a broad range of general surgery with a particular interest in laparoscopic intestinal surgery, breast cancer, gastrointestinal malignancies, and thyroid disease. He is a member of numerous societies and organizations. Dr. Ingram has previously served as the Medical Director of Trauma Services for the Moses Cone Level II trauma center and has served as the president of the medical staff of the Moses Cone Health System. He currently serves as the CEO of Central Carolina Surgery, P.A.
