Greensboro, N.C., June 29, 2010: Central Carolina Surgery, PA, is pleased to announce the opening of its new satellite office in Kernersville.
Based in Greensboro, N.C., Central Carolina Surgery (CCS) is expanding its practice in an effort to better serve patients in the surrounding Triad. A core group of surgeons will provide leadership for the new satellite office, set to open July 6th.
Founded in 1999, CCS provides a full range of general surgical and laparoscopic procedures including surgery for breast cancer and benign breast disease, hernias, thyroid gland, colon surgery, and weight loss surgery. CCS also provides services for injured patients through the trauma program at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
Central Carolina Surgery currently holds four Center of Distinction designations, including recognition by the American College of Surgeons and most recently earning the Blue Cross Blue Shield Center of Excellence in Bariatrics – making it one of three centers of excellence in the state.
Among the committed surgeons that will be serving the Kernersville community, are Dr. Haywood M. Ingram, CEO of Central Carolina Surgery, and five other experienced surgeons - Drs. Gerkin, Cornett, Tsuei, Gross and Blackman – who will all provide a complete range of general surgery specialty services.
The new 2,500-sq.ft. office is located at 1635 Highway 66 South, Suite 155(Cone Health Center). This location, in the central part of Kernersville, will serve as a second Triad location, while the practice's main headquarters are maintained at 1002 N. Church St., Suite 302, Greensboro, N.C.
