Amber L. Allen, MD
A native of Eastern Tennessee, Dr. Allen returned to the state where she received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences in Memphis after earning her undergraduate degree from Avila College in Kansas City, Missouri. She then completed her surgical residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Allen continued her training with a one-year Minimally Invasive fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington before relocating to North Carolina for private practice. Dr. Allen joined Central Carolina Surgery in August 2008.
Dr. Allen practices a broad range of general surgery with a particular interest in advanced minimally invasive surgical procedures.
